Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Seven IMG-managed properties were honoured at the sixth World Golf Awards.
As well seeing Michlifen Golf & Country Club named as Morocco’s Best Golf Hotel, six clubs within the IMG network were bestowed with the honour of Best Golf Course in their respective countries.
“We’re extremely proud of all IMG clients who won at the World Golf Awards. Most of them have been managed by IMG since their opening,” said Paul Burley, Senior Vice President, IMG Golf Course Services, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“It’s great recognition to be named as the top course in the country, and is testament to the quality of clubs in our network.
“We would also like to thank Chris Frost and his team for all their efforts in organising such a special event. World Golf Awards was created to reward the industry leaders and we’re very happy to have several IMG clubs in the winners list once again.”
IMG’s Best Golf Course winners came in Azerbaijan (Dreamland Golf Club), Cambodia (Garden City Golf Club), China (Jinji Lake Golf Club), Hungary (Zala Springs Golf Resort), Slovenia (Royal Bled) and Vietnam (Ba Na Hills Golf Club).
