Recognition for IMG Prestige Courses

The fourth hole at Portugal’s West Cliffs Golf Links.

London, England: A total of 16 IMG Prestige courses have been included in Golf World magazine’s Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe ranking.

Published every two years, the latest ranking of the Top 100 Courses in Continental Europe reflects the changing landscape in golf development.

No fewer than 20 countries are represented in the most comprehensively researched listing ever.

“It is always a great pleasure to see IMG Prestige clubs receive the recognition they deserve,” said Russell Hannah, Senior Director at IMG Golf, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“These rankings are testament to both great course design and all of the hard work carried out behind the scenes at each club.

“The IMG Prestige network has long been associated with quality. Now with over 200 leading courses across the globe, it is no surprise that our clubs continue to dominate rankings such as these,” Hannah added.

IMG Prestige is an elite network of courses that feature leading golf clubs and partners across the world, many of which have a close association with IMG.

Members at each participating club are entitled to preferred access, special rates, discounts, benefits and privileges offered by partners and other clubs in the network through the IMG Prestige Concierge.

Looking ahead, Golf World says it’s planning to expand the list to include 200 courses.
