Orlando, United States: Bunker and turf management specialist Capillary Concrete has announced that its website – www.capillaryconcrete.com – will go pink for the month of October to honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to show the company’s support for efforts to eliminate breast cancer.
In addition, a percentage of the company’s revenues for October will be donated to the Morgan Pressel Foundation, started by the LPGA Tour star to aid in the fight against cancer, particularly breast cancer, in memory of her mother, who died from the disease.
Over the last 11 years, Pressel’s foundation has raised more than US$7.5 million to support cancer research and patient care.
“This is a very important charity for us to support, both personally and professionally – my mother is a survivor of breast cancer herself – and knowing the great work that Morgan and her sister, Madison, do for breast cancer awareness,” said Travis Chivers, Operations Manager for Capillary Concrete, an Associate Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“It means a lot to us to support such a great cause run by even better people,” he said.
