Englewood, Colorado, United States: GOLFTEC has completed the largest and most advanced fitter training in the company’s 24-year history, with over 100 elite coaches from around the world converging at GOLFTEC headquarters for a week-long curriculum on club fitting best practices and 2019 equipment product line education.
The summit focused on training coaches on further advances to GOLFTEC’s proprietary TECFIT club fitting system and ensuring they are intricately familiar with the latest clubs from OEM partners.
The latter was emphasised through sessions hosted by representatives from Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Titleist and Mizuno, and prepared GOLFTEC coaches to offer the most complete and accurate club fitting experience to golfers of all skill levels.
“Our coaches are the lifeblood of our company, which is why it is crucial that they are the most knowledgeable fitters on the planet and have every tool at their disposal to provide the most precise and complete fittings possible,” said Joe Assell, Co-Founder and CEO at GOLFTEC, an Indoor Golf Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
He added: “As our club sales and fitting services continue to expand with dozens of new GOLFTEC Training Centres opening worldwide every year, our focus is to keep moving forward and these in-depth educational sessions are vital to our success.”
The expertise of GOLFTEC coaches across both teaching and fitting disciplines qualifies the company as among the most comprehensive solutions for complete game improvement. In addition, GOLFTEC’s partnerships with top club manufacturers means it can provide custom-fit clubs at prices that match the cost of major big-box retailers.
The success of GOLFTEC’s approach has been widely recognised with Golf Digest recently honouring 36 GOLFTEC Training Centres on its list of the ‘100 Best Club Fitters in America’.
