Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: To accommodate regional growth interests and opportunities, Troon has expanded and opened a corporate office in Irvine, California.
Troon Vice President Bill O’Brien, a 20-plus year golf and hospitality industry veteran, will lead Troon’s Orange County office operations.
The new Orange County office is located minutes from the John Wayne/Orange County Airport at 17875 Von Karman Avenue, Suite 225 in Irvine. The office location was thoughtfully selected for its proximity to the airport, potential for portfolio growth in the region and associate career opportunities.
“The offices are situated within a campus that features indoor-outdoor workspaces and common areas,” said O’Brien. “The office reflects much of what makes the West Coast a remarkable place and serves as an example of the types of inviting spaces we encourage our clubs to integrate into their overall experience.”
Through its Troon Golf, Troon Privé and Cliff Drysdale Management divisions, Troon operates 32 facilities in California, Oregon and Washington, including Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, California; The Saticoy Club in Somis, California; Pronghorn in Bend, Oregon; Fairwood Golf and Country Club in Renton, Washington; and the In-Shape Tennis Centre: Stockton Marina in Stockton, California.
“We continue to see tremendous growth in partnerships and management agreements throughout California, Oregon and Washington,” said Tim Schantz, President of Troon, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation. “Our Orange County office will help service current and future facilities throughout the West, while providing an ideal environment for our Troon associates to live, work and play.”
In addition to its headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, Troon now has offices in Irvine, California; Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Birmingham, Alabama; Jacksonville, Florida; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and with the recent acquisition of Cliff Drysdale Management, in Austin, Texas.
