Singapore: Sentosa Golf Club once more found itself in the fast lane as host to the Audio quattro Cup 2017 Singapore.
Vying for a spot in the Audi quattro Cup World Finals, more than 150 Audi owners took to the award-winning Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club, a Golf Course Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Singapore professional and Audi ambassador Quincy Quek said: “The amount of talent and skill at this year’s Audio quattro Cup was impressive.
“As much as the aim of the tournament was to crown this year’s winners, it was also to bring myAudiworld members together to bond over golf, food and games.”
Although the Audi Q5, Audi Q2 and Audi A5 Sportback were all on offer as Hole-in-One prizes, there were no winners.
Nonetheless, Nina Um and Shirley Lee had plenty of cause for celebration after emerging triumphant in the tournament. They will now go on to represent Singapore in the World Finals at Los Cabos in Mexico in the first week of December.
Lee said: “I’m thrilled to have won the opportunity to represent Singapore in Mexico. Nina and I will do our best to make Singapore proud.”
Um said: “We’ll be training even harder now that we’re going to be representing Singapore on the international stage.”
Audi has actively promoted golf with this team tournament. More than 90,000 golfers playing across 700 tournaments around the world, are part of the international Audi quattro Cup family each year. This largest global tournament series for amateur golfers is currently being held in 47 countries around the world.
