Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States: The PGA of America has named Jacquelyn Endsley as Championship Director of the 2018 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
One of five Majors on the LPGA Tour, the 2018 edition which will be held at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, Illinois from June 28-July 1.
Endsley previously served as the Championship Manager at the 2015 US Women’s Open at Lancaster Country Club in Pennsylvania, which utilised more than 2,500 volunteers and generated record-setting attendance and ticket sales.
A native of Kohler, Wisconsin, Endsley spent nearly three years with the NCAA, specialising in corporate relations, marketing and broadcasting.
Most recently, she spearheaded business development for the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union in Des Moines.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Jacquelyn to the PGA of America,” said Kerry Haigh, Chief Championships Officer of the PGA of America, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“Jacquelyn has a wealth of previous championship experience, but we were also drawn to her ability to connect with a wide range of people to grow the collaboration between the PGA, KPMG and the LPGA,” he added.
Endsley is a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College and later earned a Masters Degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She previously worked for Kemper Sports – Harborside International Golf Centre, the National Basketball Association’s Milwaukee Bucks and Kohler Company.
