London, England: Bayer Environmental Science has appointed a new national account manager for its turf and amenity products.
Lewis Blois brings more than 10 years of experience in the amenity sector to the Bayer Turf Solutions Team.
He started his career with Bayer distributor, Sherriff Amenity, before spending seven years at ICL, working with distribution, end-users and contractors.
Along with his practical experience, like the rest of the Bayer team, Blois is fully BASIS qualified, which has provided him with a sound technical backing, and the continued professional development programme keeps him updated on the latest advances in the sector.
“I’m delighted to join the Bayer team. I’ll mostly be working on the amenity side of the business, dealing with our distributors as well as vegetation management contractors, local authorities and customers,” said Blois.
“I’ll be getting involved with exciting new product development projects that are in the pipeline, as well as working with leading amenity products such as Pistol and Finale 150.”
Neil Pettican, Head of Sales for Bayer Turf and Amenity, believes Blois will be a great asset to the team of professionals at Bayer Environmental Science, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“Bayer has recognised the need to support the industry and has invested in an experienced new member of the team, as well as several exciting new products in development,” added Pettican.
