TPC KLKuala Lumpur, Malaysia: In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, 30 under-privileged children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim/ Miskin Klang (PEYAKIN Home) had the pleasure of Berbuka Puasa at TPC Kuala Lumpur.
The children and their caretakers arrived at TPC Kuala Lumpur in their raya outfits and were warmly greeted by the Public Relations & Communications team.
They then proceeded for Asar prayers before a fun-filled bowling competition. The group were divided into five players in each lane.
Some children opted to experience other activities, such as video games, table tennis and watching cartoon movies in the club’s mini theatre.
Later, everyone gathered at the Piano Lounge for Berbuka Puasa which was hosted by Steven Thielke, Chief Executive Officer of TPC Kuala Lumpur and Dato’ Mustafa Mohd Ali, the Club Captain.
Also present were members of the management team at TPC Kuala Lumpur, a Golf Course Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Following an opening speech by Dato’ Mustafa Mohd Ali and recitation of Doa by Ustaz Mohd Rahim bin Haji Sarbini, the children indulged in the sweet dates to officially break the fast.
While dining, the children were presented with a special Rising Star Juniors video montage, shot at the PEYAKIN home late last year.
One of the highlights of the event was a balloon contest and pop quiz. Goodie bags and duit raya were handed out by Dato’ Mustafa Ali and Thielke to all 30 children.
