Titleist Introduces New Golf Club Trial and Fitting Initiatives

Published on April 9, 2017

30in30 Logo and TaglineSingapore: Avid golfers now have more opportunities than ever to experience the technology and innovation of Titleist Golf Clubs in Southeast Asia and find the right equipment for their game.
In addition to the current line-up of Titleist Club Trial events, Titleist Fitting Days at partner golf clubs regionally, Vokey Wedge Experience events and Scotty Cameron Experience days, Titleist will be rolling out an extensive series of new Club Trial initiatives where golfers can get fitted or trial new Titleist Golf Clubs with Titleist product specialists.
With the extensive choice of club events, golfers will be provided an abundance of opportunities to experience Titleist Golf Clubs.
“Golfers can simply trial our technically-advanced golf club range, to be fully fitted for their choice of clubs by a highly-skilled Titleist Product Specialist or Fitting Partner or pick up a Titleist Trial set to test at the range or on the golf course,” said a spokesperson for Titleist, part of the Acushnet company, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
A new initiative from Titleist is ‘Introducing 30 in 30’, to help golfers not only understand the performance capabilities of 917, but also how club fitting can help golfers to play better golf.
The 30 in 30 concept centres around ‘30 minutes, 30 swings, one exceptional driver’.
An expert fitter using Titleist’s 30 in 30 Driver Fitting Methodology will maximise the performance of every Titleist 917 driver. The 30 in 30 driver fitting method establishes a quality standard for every fitting and takes approximately 30 minutes and 30 swings.
It ensures that key performance choices are addressed including model, loft, shaft, grip and all adjustable settings. The results, says Titleist, ensure that golfers consistently hit their longest, most accurate drives.
Gene Saunders, Titleist Golf Club Product & Fitting Manager, said: “Purchased as a stock club off the shelf, 917 metals are a truly outstanding product. But when fitted by a Titleist Certified Club Fitter the performance potential is further maximised to deliver complete performance. If golfers can give us approximately 30 minutes and 30 swings, we know he or she will experience significant performance gains.”
From April through June, Titleist will be conducting a large number of 30 in 30 Fitting Days throughout the region. Golfers can now look to maximise the performance of a new Titleist 917 driver with a complimentary fitting from a Titleist Certified Club Fitter.
