Logo Jacobsen rSunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia: Jacobsen will tee-off the 33rd Australian Turfgrass Conference and Trade Exhibition with a full-day workshop.
To be staged at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort in Queensland from June 26-29, the event is hosted by the Australian Golf Course Superintendents Association (AGCSA).
“The overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the destination and venue made the decision to return to Twin Waters after only four years very easy,” said a spokesperson for the AGCSA.
Starting proceeding will be the workshop by Jacobsen, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation. This will feature both an agronomic and management topic.
This will be followed by a traditional plenary full day of sessions before delegates break off into either dedicated golf or sports field streams on the final two days.
All delegates can also take advantage of some of the specialised workshops that will run concurrently to various streams.
The spokesperson said educational content is designed to reflect the issues affecting turf managers as well as looking at industry innovations and management techniques relevant in today’s sports turf industry.
The Australian Turfgrass Trade Exhibition on June 28-29 is expected to have more than 50 companies displaying their goods and services. There will also be a delegate/VIP preview event and other partner activities.
Held annually, this event is the largest turf trade exhibition in Australia, showcasing the latest in turf management machinery, equipment, technology and products. The exhibition is free to attend.
