Several Assumes New Role at Reed Exhibitions

Logo - ReedNorwalk, Connecticut, United States: Ed Several, formerly Senior Vice President and General Manager of PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions, has been tapped for a new role as Senior Vice President, Integration & Commercial Optimisation – Reed Exhibitions Americas.
In his new role, Several will report directly to Hervé Sedky, President of Reed Exhibitions Americas.
Meanwhile, Yancy Weinrich, Senior Vice President at Reed Exhibitions and a 12-year veteran of the trade show industry, will now oversee the PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions portfolio of events inclusive of the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando and the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience in Las Vegas.
“Ed Several’s sustained success over the past 12 years in elevating the value of the PGA Shows portfolio, plus multiple additional events across a diverse spectrum of industries, has made Ed vital to our success in optimising current business events and integrating newly acquired events across the Americas,” said Sedky.
Several first joined Reed Exhibitions in 2004 as the Industry Vice President and Show Manager for PGA events. In his new role and during the transition, Several will continue to assist with relationships and long-term strategy on events from his previous portfolio.
Coming to Reed Exhibitions from the jewellery industry in 2004, Weinrich has grown the Reed Exhibitions Reed Jewellery Group to now include an expansive number of successful business events including multiple JCK, Luxury and JIS Events, and also oversees the publication of JCK Magazine.
Weinrich said: “I am excited to lead an established and strong PGA Show team already in place. With a focus on delivering exceptional value at all levels, we will continue to develop new programming and enhance PGA Show Week in ways that will help drive the global business of golf forward.
“Both the golf and jewellery industries are collaborative and retail driven and I look forward to identifying new programmes to exceed the needs of our PGA Show customers.”
Marc Simon, Event Director for PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions, will continue in his role for the PGA Merchandise Show and PGA Fashion & Demo Experience.
