Orlando, United States: Club Car, the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheeled, zero-emission electric and utility vehicles, is expanding its suite of product offerings and has current and future vehicles on display at this week’s PGA Merchandise Show.
Club Car has a variety of vehicles at its booth, including the PRECEDENT, Transporter XL, CARRYALL and Café Express.
Company representatives are on hand for additional information and media interviews.
Club Car is showcasing its extensive portfolio of utility and turf utility vehicles, which highlights Club Car’s commitment and ability to provide holistic solutions that satisfy all of the needs of golf course owners and resort operators.
In addition to utility and turf utility vehicles, Club Car is, for the first time, revealing the Onward, a personal transportation vehicle (PTV) and has a lifted, four-passenger version on display at its booth.
The Onward is Club Car’s first major product launch in 10 years and offers a highly customisable platform. It is designed for master-planned communities and open neighbourhoods.
“We continue to innovate with an eye toward the future and understand that our customers’ wants and needs are changing,” said Marc Dufour, President of Club Car, a brand of Ingersoll Rand and an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“We are proud of our 24-year partnership and to be an Official Partner of the PGA of America and look forward to sharing our new products at the PGA Merchandise Show.”
In terms of what’s next, Club Car recently partnered with LG Chem, the world’s leading automotive lithium-ion battery supplier, to develop an advanced, next generation lithium ion solution that will be scaled and used across the range of Club Car’s vehicles.
The introduction and use of lithium-powered vehicles is expected in 2018.
