Banyan Golf Club
Hua Hin, Thailand: Banyan Golf Club has been named as one of the venues for next year’s Amari Hua Hin Golf Week.
More than 100 club golfers from 12 countries are expected to compete at the Asian Golf Industry Federation Golf Course Facility during the week of March 12-18, 2017.
Many of the participants will then head south for the Amari Pattaya Golf Week (March 19-25).
These two week-long tournaments are open to golfers with and without handicaps and include four rounds of golf as well as nightly social and entertainment events.
Also catering to the needs of non-golfers and travelling companions, a series of tours to popular local attractions and destination experiences will be offered.
Amari will host this dual-destination golfing experience at two of its top locations in Thailand – Amari Hua Hin and Amari Ocean Pattaya.
Phanuphan Buasuang, General Manager, Amari Hua Hin, said: “We are proud to be host of the Amari Hua Hin Golf Week for the third year now. My team and I are looking forward to welcoming returning golfers and new players for a week of amazing golf, great fun and fellowship.”
Robert Rijnders, General Manager, Amari Pattaya, said: “Our strategic location makes us a popular choice among golfers, with more than 20 of the region’s finest courses within a 45-minute driving radius from the hotel.”
Mark Penfold, Director of Golf Events at tournament organiser Golfasian, is confident of attracting a full field with the early bird offer of one free night or one free round of golf with caddie and cart in high demand.
