Singapore: FootJoy has unveiled its HyperFlex II. Featuring a completely reimagined BioMorph exoskeleton upper designed to mimic the ligaments of the foot, HyperFlex II delivers lightweight support, cushioning and enhanced flexibility to elevate a player’s game to its highest level.
HyperFlex II features a tight-knit, lightweight, soft, flexible, waterproof mesh upper, which allows for maximum comfort, breathability and flexibility.
A newly designed FlexGrid 3.0 BioMorph upper pattern is fused to the underlying mesh. Designed to mimic and work in concert with the ligaments of the foot, the new BioMorph pattern allows for more natural movement and flexibility while walking and throughout the golf swing, yet still delivers the lateral stability needed.
Doug Robinson, VP of Golf Footwear WW, said: “With the new Biomorph upper, our goal was to strike a balance between structure and flexibility and deliver those benefits in the exact locations they’re needed.
“We accomplished this by studying the physiology of the human foot and building an upper that worked in unison with the musculature and tendons of the foot to give the golfer a shoe that will move when they need it to and provide support when they need it.”
Timothy Yoong, FootJoy’s Regional Brand Manager, said: “Another winner from FJ with the new Biomorphing look. The shoes look outstanding with some great colour options to select from. The new HyperFlex II is a shoe that will perform as good as it looks.”
Since its inception, the HyperFlex family of golf shoes has been worn by several of the world’s best players, including newly crowned PGA Championship winner Jimmy Walker.
Rafa Cabrera Bello, Patton Kizzire, Daniel Summerhays, Joost Luiten, Jason Bohn, Graham Delaet and Brendan Steele have also worn the shoes on the PGA and European Tours.
