Singapore: Champions Golf Course has become the first Singapore Golf Club to sign up with Green Golf.
The Asian Golf Industry Federation Golf Facility Member has joined the app’s list of partner golf courses.
Users will now be able to book their rounds at the nine-hole Champions Golf Course via Green Golf at a fee of S$30 per round.
Simon Wood, Director of Marketing, Green Golf Pte Ltd, said: “We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Champions Golf Course, which will allow Green Golf users in Singapore to indulge in a quick game of golf in the city.
“Green Golf was created with the intention of making the beautiful game of golf more accessible to all, and we believe adding local courses and weekend timings to the app allows us to move one step closer towards that aim.”
Since the launch of the app in May, Green Golf has also expanded its offering to include weekend slots.
Users will now have access to Palm Resort Golf & Country Club on Sunday afternoons at an affordable rate of RM30 per game, while Bintan Lagoon Resort will begin offering Saturday and Sunday afternoon tee times from August 1.
As part of Green Golf’s continuous effort to make golf more accessible, plans are also in motion to make it a complete one-stop resource for young and budding golfers.
Green Golf hopes to eventually offer easy access to the right tools and services, from golf equipment rental to lessons and handicap maintenance, at affordable rates for all.
The Green Golf mobile app can be downloaded for free on iPhone and Android phones.
Current partner golf courses include Palm Resort Golf & Country Club, Ponderosa Golf and Country Club and now, Champions Golf Course and Bintan Lagoon.
Visa is one of Green Golf’s first partners and with this partnership, more than 120 million Visa users in Southeast Asia can use any Visa credit or debit card to book a game at any or all of the app’s featured golf courses.
