Ontario, Canada: The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) has announced the passing of Past President and Life Member Paul White.
White passed away on Thursday, June 23 at the age of 70.
White was a CGSA member for 40 years. He had served on the CGSA Board of Directors from 1988 to 1993, serving as the association’s President in 1992.
He held the highest designation of Master Superintendent and was honoured as the CGSA Superintendent of the Year in 2003.
White also served for many years as part of the Ontario Golf Superintendents Association (OGSA) and served as the OGSA President in 1980.
White is survived by his loving wife, Helen, and two sons, Scott and James.
There are plans for a service in Ontario on June 28.
