Singapore: Urban Fairways has appointed Canadian PGA member
James Quilley as General Manager and Director of Golf for its Singapore operations.
Quilley is a golf hospitality expert and teaching professional with 27 years of experience in the industry – most recently at Singapore’s Mizuno Golf Academy.
His passion for the game was instilled by his father – himself a professional. Now he wants to impart that same passion to the world of indoor golf.
Quilley said: “I’m very excited to join the indoor golf movement which has evolved due to incredible technology advances and a busy lifestyle that we now all lead.
“Urban Fairways combines golf technology and five-star hospitality – features which lead to more people being able to learn faster and play more often.”
Dilip Ghosh, Managing Director of Urban Fairways, a member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, said: “James is passionate about golf, people and outstanding service – key ingredients we look for in all our staff.
“Coupled with his industry experience, he will be a valuable addition to the management team and help us to grow the game both indoors and outdoors.”
Urban Fairways was the first indoor golf facility in Singapore and features three state-of-the-art Full Swing Golf simulators which are used by some of the world’s top professionals including
Jordan Spieth.
