The contract was approved by the State of Hawaii and the new agreement provides state agencies competitive pricing for the entire portfolio of Toro products, including commercial mowers, turf renovation equipment, utility vehicles and more.
With this NASPO ValuePoint-Toro contract approval, Hawaii state agencies will have the opportunity to purchase high-quality grounds care equipment efficiently and at a competitive rate.
“We are pleased that the State of Hawaii has adopted our Grounds Maintenance Equipment contract,” said Tim Hay, Co-operative Development Co-ordinator, for NASPO ValuePoint.
“We believe that this partnership will greatly benefit state agencies and others authorised to access state contracts by providing them with exclusive access and pricing for top quality Toro products.”
NASPO ValuePoint is the official Co-operative Purchasing Arm of NASPO. NASPO’s driving goal is to advance the field of public procurement with an emphasis on education, professional development, and innovative procurement practices.
NASPO membership includes directors from each of the 50 states in America and keeps its membership informed through conferences, research, publications and various member benefit programmes.
“The contract with the State of Hawaii through NASPO ValuePoint means that we can continue to provide innovative turf care solutions to turf management professionals across the state,” said Paula Sliefert, Senior Marketing Manager for The Toro Company, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“Toro and our distribution partners look forward to building on our relationship with NASPO ValuePoint and the State of Hawaii.”
