Thailand’s Panorama Golf and Country Club.
Bangkok, Thailand: Quality Golf has renewed its contract with the Golden Land PLC to provide full club management for the Panorama Golf and Country Club [PGCC].
Located in Khao Yai, PGCC is a championship resort golf course set amidst rolling hills outside Nakorn Ratchasima, some two hours north of Bangkok.
Rated as one of northern Thailand’s best-conditioned courses, PGCC has been acclaimed for its stunning surroundings and natural lay of the land rather than man-made obstacles.
In addition to hosting five Thai PGA Senior events and two Thai PGA events, the course is a frequent venue for international junior tournaments.
At the Panorama helm for just over a year has been
Soonthorn Charladkitsirikul. He came to the Panorama Golf and Country Club with substantial senior golf club management experience, having many years of club managerial positions with Quality Golf, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Tony Taylor, Senior Consultant and Executive Director of Quality Golf, said: “We are fortunate to have someone with his expertise and steady character in the leadership role as General Manager at Panorama Golf and Country Club.”
Taylor also praised
Surakij Kachai, course superintendent since the club’s inception more than 22 years ago.
This year the course will receive a much needed new water supply source. The new pipeline will ensure that the course is never out of water, meaning playing conditions will remain stable at all times.
There will also be improvements off the course with 12 rooms at the resort earmarked for upgrading.
Taylor said: “We are honoured by the confidence of Golden Land PLC’s directors and their continued trust in Quality Golf to manage their property for the last six years.
“We look forward to a continued and enduring relationship and are keen to implement the improvement plan that will take the Panorama Golf and Country Club to a new level.”
