Brussels, Belgium: Asian Golf Industry Federation Executive Member Club Car has been appointed the official supplier of St Andrews Links Trust (SALT), one of the most distinguished golf complexes in the world and the Home of Golf.
As one of the most respected brands in the golf industry for more than 50 years, Club Car will play an integral role in the operation of SALT’s seven public courses, which includes the world renowned Old Course, a 29-time Open Championship venue, where golf has been played for more than 600 years.

The new fleet comprises of dependable Carryall
utility vehicles and efficient Precedent golf cars, all featuring the latest connected technology, Guardian 2.
The ground-breaking connected mobile information capabilities on the Club Car vehicles will provide a range of benefits to SALT’s operations team and course maintenance staff, including car control features to reduce speeds or stop the cars entering specific zones, car tracking and messaging, live battery diagnostics and reports on each car.
“It is vitally important we maintain our impeccable standards of service for the thousands of golfers who visit the Home of Golf each year and we believe that with the new partnership with Club Car, SALT and all of the golfers that play our courses will benefit from the highest quality of service support,” Campbell said.
Established in 1974, SALT oversees the management and maintenance of the Links courses at St Andrews – Old Course, New Course, Jubilee Course, Eden Course, Strathtyrum Course, Balgove Course and The Castle Course – with more than 230,000 rounds played over the seven public courses each year.
