Hanoi, Vietnam: Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club has been named Best Championship Course 2015 at the annual industry awards by Vietnam Golf Magazine in conjunction with the Vietnam Golf Association.
Located 45 kilometres from Hanoi, Sky Lake is a 36-hole property under the management of IMG, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Awards were granted based on readers’ choices via a systematic on-line voting procedure and the evaluation of a panel of industry professionals who visited courses eligible for voting.
For Sky Lake the award follows the nomination of the facility’s members-only Lake Course as Most Challenging Course in 2013.
As well as the 7,557-yard Lake Course the club boasts the Sky Course, measuring 7,311 yards from the championship tees. The Sky Course is open to the public.
Sky Lake is part of the exclusive IMG Prestige network. Participating members are provided access to the private Lake Course.
