DSC_0150 LOWKuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Management and staff from Gamuda Land Clubs have joined hands in their Corporate Social Responsibility by organising a charity visit to the Persatuan Kebajikan Elijah in Johor Bahru.
Gamuda Land Clubs include Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club, Jade Hills Resort Club, Botanic Resort Club and Kota Permai Golf & Country Club, a Golf Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
The home is a shelter to 35 under-privileged children ranging in age from one to 18 years old.
Led by Tang Meng Loon, Gamuda Land Clubs Group General Manager, the management team and Horizon Hills Liaison Committee members handed over the contributions in cash and in-kind based on the home’s wish list before joining the children for a fun-filled afternoon.
The children also received Deepavali packets and goodie bags.
Tang said: “We never get tired of seeing the joy on the faces of the recipients, especially the children. We want them to know that they are important members of the society. Looking at the children running around with such energy is a joy to behold.”
The annual visits to the various charity organisations aim to foster closer ties between Gamuda Land Clubs and the communities in which the clubs are located.
