Birmingham, England: Garia, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, has launched its new line of utility vehicles.
Designed to target municipal, industrial and resort businesses as well as golf courses, the Garia utility vehicles were unveiled at the Sports Amenities Landscaping Trade Exhibition [SALTEX], the United Kingdom’s biggest exhibition of groundsmanship products and services.
Steen Scherff, Garia’s Vice President of Sales EMEA, said the vehicles are new from the ground up and have nothing in common with a Garia golf car, aside from sharing some components, and production techniques.
Scherff said: “The Garia utility vehicles are built like a car. Scandinavian design meets performance, handling and quality of build are second to none in this segment.
“Operator comfort, cost of ownership as well as the environment are all important aspects for our target customer and the electric utility vehicles have been designed and built to meet these criteria.
“Garia utility vehicles will be sold through a network of independent distributors. Several dealers and distributors have been signed and we received several serious inquires during SALTEX.”
