Awards Flow for Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club

Asian Golf Awards 2015 (2)Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Asian Golf Industry Federation Golf Facility Member Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club [KLGCC] has been recognised by the hospitality golf industry in 10 different categories.
For the third time in four years, the club’s West Course was named Best Course in Malaysia.
Among the other accolades to come the way of the club in the Asian Golf Awards, Mohd Nizam Othman was crowned Best Golf Course Superintendent in Asia Pacific.
With more than 20 years of managing golf courses under his belt, Nizam is one a handful of course superintendents in Asia who has worked with the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and European Tour in preparing KLGCC for major international tournaments such as the CIMB Classic, Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia and Maybank Malaysian Open in one calendar year.

“As the only golf club that has hosted three international tournaments within a year for three consecutive years – Maybank Malaysian Open, CIMB Classic, and Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia – these awards and recognitions are a testament to the level of excellence and utmost commitment that our team has to offer.”
