Shanghai, China: Golf consumers are being invited to take part in the World Golf Survey, which will paint a picture of golf’s current commercial landscape around the world, from participation to viewership.
It will also examine the key trends shaping professional golf in the future, notably the impact of its inclusion on the Olympic programme in 2016.
Repucom is partnering with IMG, the organisers of the HSBC Golf Business Forum and an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, to present the findings of the survey at this year’s event, to be held at the Pudong Shangri La Hotel in downtown Shanghai from November 1-4.
Repucom Founder and CEO Paul Smith will be among the speakers at the event.
“We’re delighted to be working with IMG and partnering an event as prestigious and well-established as the HSBC Golf Business Forum, said Smith.
“This partnership is rooted in sharing expertise and content to assist the development of the global golf business and we envisage the World Golf report will be a valuable tool for any brand or rights-holder looking to maximise value in the sector, as well as those looking to invest in a sport with major commercial potential for the first time. We’re looking forward to delivering our findings to the golf industry in Shanghai.”
