Norman’s New ‘State-of-the-Art’ Course

Yarra Valley Eastern Golf Club

Yarra Valley Eastern Golf Club

Melbourne, Australia: Greg Norman has designed and opened Victoria’s newest golf course – the Yarra Valley’s Eastern Golf Club.
The first 18 of 27 holes have opened, offering a new challenge to golf enthusiasts and increasing Victoria’s reputation as one of the Australia’s best golfing destinations.
The new course has been developed for year-round golfing with 18 holes by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
A further nine-hole, par-three course will follow by mid-2016. There is also a new clubhouse and on-site accommodation.
The state-of-the-art course emphasises the natural features of its Yarra Valley location, 20 kilometres from Melbourne’s city centre.
The new site will also offer tennis courts, a golf teaching academy and 12 kilometres of bushwalking trails.
The clubhouse is suitable for the whole family, with an adult and children’s games room, function and conference facilities for 150 guests, and formal and casual dining areas.
Visitors can explore the surrounding region, famous for its vineyards and gourmet experiences, and is also perfect for mountain biking, fishing and indulging in the region’s many boutique cellar doors.
