Bintan, Indonesia: Award-winning Ria Bintan Golf Club is offering special Summer Escapade packages.
The club, a short ferry ride from Singapore, has put together enticing offers to tempt those who would like to savour the facility before it undergoes renovation.
Club officials said the Ocean Course will be upgraded in two phases.
From July to December, holes 10 to 18 will be the focus of attention with work on the front nine due to take place from January to June, 2016.
During this period, members and guests will be able to continuing playing an 18-hole configuration with the nine-hole Forest Course open for play throughout.
Designed by South African great Gary Player, Ria Bintan is a Golf Facility member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
The club’s Express Package for day-trippers starts at S$99 and includes an 18-hole round plus land transfers.
Meanwhile, starting at S$209, Ria Bintan’s Stay and Play Unlimited package is inclusive of golfing, land transfers and one room night at the Ria BintaN Golf Lodge.
Valid through June 30, those that sign up will receive 100 driving range balls, a Ria Bintan souvenir as well as a room upgrade, subject to availability.
