Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: Troon has announced the official schedule of the 2015 Troon Challenge presented by Callaway Golf.
This year’s event marks the largest Troon Challenge event ever, with a total of 35 facilities in 16 different states in America hosting qualifying events from April through August.
The annual Troon Challenge is Troon’s largest amateur golf event, attracting more than 1,200 loyal golfers competing in regional qualifying events across the United States.
Two-person teams in both Net and Gross Divisions will vie for the chance to qualify for the National Finals to be held at Troon’s flagship facility – Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
New states hosting regional qualifying events this year are Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, New York, North Carolina and Virginia.
“We are thrilled to launch what will be the largest Troon Challenge series ever, providing even more opportunities for amateur golfers to experience friendly competition at many of our outstanding Troon Golf facilities throughout the United States,” said Kris Strauss, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Troon.

Qualifying events kicked off on April 18 with play at The Ridge in Castle Pines, Colorado. Entry into any qualifying event includes green fee, cart, practice balls, one dozen Callaway Chrome Soft golf balls, custom Imperial Troon Challenge hat, event prizes and post-tournament awards reception.
