New Kuta Golf boasts one of Asia’s most spectacular golfing settings.

Bali, Indonesia: New Kuta Golf’s reputation as one of the region’s finest golfing tests will be underlined when the club hosts the 22nd edition of the Indonesia Men’s Open Amateur Championship.
Located on the south-western rim of the island’s Bukit Peninsula, within the Pecatu Indah Resort grounds, the par-72 layout will be the focus of Indonesian golfing attention when it stages one of the most prestigious events on the country’s golfing calendar from March 16-19.
It’s the first time that the tournament – a counting event for The R&A’s World Amateur Golf Ranking – has been awarded to New Kuta Golf, a Golf Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
In addition to a strong Indonesian presence, entries are expected from Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Korea and Australia.
Perched above a limestone cliff, overlooking stunning Dreamland and Balangan Beach, the spectacular course was sculpted by Golfplan, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Opened in 2007, New Kuta was host to the Indonesian Open – co-sanctioned by the European Tour and Asian Tour – in 2009 when Thai Thongchai Jaidee emerged victorious.
New Kuta Indo OpenSanctioned by the PGI East Java Chapter and open to all amateur golfers in accordance with the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by The R&A, the Indonesia Men’s Open Amateur Championship will be split into two divisions.
