Hanoi, Vietnam: Under Flagstick’s management and key construction personnel team, a vast change in scenery has recently occurred at Legend Hill, the site of the first Nicklaus Design golf course in Vietnam.
This spectacular site meanders through natural valleys, with each golf hole consisting of two separate greens.
This unique feature will allow the golf course to be set-up completely differently from day-to-day, varying both the length and strategy of each hole and ensuring an interesting golfing experience for players of all levels.
In the month of February, Jim Wagner of Nicklaus Design was on-site to approve the shaping, water feature construction, bunker construction and finish detail shaping prior to the start of grassing.
The first few holes are now grassed at Legend Hill and construction is scheduled to be completed in late May, with an opening planned for the summer of 2015.
All team members (Nicklaus Design, Provost Stamper Irrigation, GCH Landscape Architecture and Rock Group) are putting in extra hours and effort to expedite the completion of this first Nicklaus Design golf course in Vietnam.
Flagstick is an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
