Bubba Watson visited the Garia booth during the PGA Show.
Orlando, United States:
Bubba Watson drove into centre stage at the 62nd PGA Merchandise Show.
During the industry gathering, the five-time PGA Tour winner dropped in at the booth of Garia, the Danish manufacturer of luxury golf and leisure cars.
Watson is a Garia Ambassador and drives a customised Garia at his Isleworth home.
Fellow Major champion
Paula Creamer, also a Garia Ambassador, added a dash of glamour when she, too, visited the booth that was displaying a handful of the Asian Golf Industry Federation Full Business Member’s flagship cars.
Danny Ferguson, Garia’s Regional Manager, Asia Pacific, said: “This was the first time that Garia had fully participated in the PGA Show.
“It was a great exercise to initially get exposure of the name and then for people to see the product and have a chance to see the benefits.”
A further buzz was created when the Currus model was featured on The Golf Channel.
Inspired by high performance automobiles, Garia says its products ‘combine the convenience of a golf and leisure car with the experience of exquisite luxury’.
A privately-owned Danish company founded in 2005, Garia’s golf cars are proving popular in Asia with sales made in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Thailand.
