Champions Feted at Kota Permai

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Eric Foo Hwa Peng heralded the start of the New Year by being crowned winner of Kota Permai Golf & Country Club’s Champion of Champions tournament.
Peng, a three-handicapper, fired a one-over-par 73 at the award-winning course, a Golf Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Peng ended three shots clear of runner-up, Mohd Hezri B. Md Hassan, in the event that attracted a field of 120.
Also in the winners’ enclosure was Ng Eu Cheng. The 13-handicapper came out on top in the Plate Medal with a nett 66.
Meanwhile, Willie Lim was awarded Golfer of the Year [Gross] 2014 with the nett prize going to Lim Yeow Leng.
Speaking about the club’s numerous accolades in 2014, Group General Manager Tang Meng Loon said: “It is testament to the club’s aim to attain even greater heights – with the ultimate to rank among the top golf courses in the Asia Pacific region.”
