Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: Asian Golf Industry Federation Executive Member Troon has been selected to manage The Royal Country Clubs, a collection of four esteemed Chicago-area clubs with 72 holes of championship golf and outstanding amenities.
Consisting of The Royal Fox Country Club, The Royal Hawk Country Club, The Grove Country Club and Klein Creek Golf Club, The Royal Country Clubs provide the ideal retreat with a variety of choices in both golf and social activities.
And with a ‘down-to-earth’ approach, the collection of clubs presents a variety of options for members to gather with family and friends and to foster life-long relationships.
“The Royal Country Clubs truly present a unique lifestyle filled with a variety of recreation and social activities,” said Mike Ryan, Senior Vice President, Troon Golf operations.
“We are honoured to have been selected and confident that our management approach will contribute positively at these four esteemed Chicagoland clubs.”
Each of The Royal Country Clubs’ four golf courses offers a special and distinct golf experience.
The Royal Fox Country Club features a challenging par-71 course that has hosted the Illinois PGA Open five times in recent years.
The Royal Hawk, located on 180 acres of rolling hills in wooded countryside, provides rustic farmhouse charm and panoramic views of the Fox River Valley.
The Grove, established in 1964, features lush Bentgrass fairways and greens with water in play on eight holes and thousands of mature trees that frame an outstanding layout.
Finally, the daily-fee Klein Creek Golf Club was designed to create a memorable golf experience while offering higher handicap players four sets of tees to ensure a fun-filled round.
Troon will begin managing all four clubs on January 1, 2015.
“Our goals are always centred on enhancing the member and guest experiences at The Royal Country Clubs and Troon is the ideal partner to help us accomplish our objectives,” said John Weiss, owner of The Royal Golf Group.
“Troon is excited to establish a presence in Chicago and we’re looking forward to partnering with the world’s best golf management company for our members. This new partnership is going to be a win for everyone involved.”
Along with each club’s own 18-hole course, The Royal Country Clubs offer exceptional dining venues and family amenities, including fitness, swimming pools, tennis courts, weddings and events facilities.
