Amsterdam, Netherlands:Nike Golf athlete Paul Casey returned to winning ways with a European Tour triumph at the KLM Open, his first victory of the season and 13th in his career on the European Tour.
The 37-year-old, who recently became a father, started the final round four shots behind the leader, but four birdies on the front nine erased the deficit.
The highlight of Casey’s week was his third round score of 62 that put him into contention at the Kennemer Golf and Country Club in Zandvoort. In that round, Casey provided a magnificent display of touch on the greens with his Nike Method 006 putter helping him to nine birdies.
The Method 006 is the same putter used by world number one Rory McIlroy, who trusted it on his way to summer Major victories at The Open Championship and the PGA Championship.
