Shenzhen, China: After three months of construction on a complete build out, Dye Designs Group (DDG) hosted a grand opening celebration for their new office location in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen.
According to DDG’s CEO, O’Brien McGarey, the move was prompted by growth in DDG’s China team in the areas of marketing and full-time design staff.
The new office layout and purpose was envisioned by DDG’s President of Asia Pacific, Sam McGarey. It has a ‘modern industrial feel which allows for a great design atmosphere’, said one client who attended the grand opening.
DDG’s new location is in a renovated factory complex specifically geared toward the design industry. Previously located one hour outside of Shenzhen at Dye’s 27-hole course, CTS Tycoon Golf Club, the new office brings DDG to a more central location inside the city.
DDG has been present in China since 1994, with an office established in Shenzhen since 2008. The company’s design studio headquarters will continue to be based in Denver, Colorado in the United States.
