Schmidt-Curley Design’s Bali Hai Retains ‘Best Course’ Title

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States: For the sixth year in succession, Schmidt-Curley Design’s Bali Hai Golf Club has been named Best Golf Course in Las Vegas.

The course is recognised by concierges for its close proximity to major hotel casinos and for the high level of service. Walters Golf, the owner operator company, has long-standing partnerships with many properties that secure concierges direct access and guaranteed low rates when they book golf at Bali Hai Golf Club.
Located on Las Vegas Strip next to Mandalay Bay and the Las Vegas Sign, the course that was opened in 2000 stretches to 7,002 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 71.
The lush surroundings include seven acres of opulent water features, a total of 4,000 trees with 2,500 stands of towering palms and 100,000 Balinese tropical plants.
Transition and out-of-play areas are accentuated with Augusta-white sand and black volcanic rock outcroppings.
Bali Hai’s unique layout includes teasers like the 16th, a par-three island green that frequently comes with an audience from the Cili Restaurant patio, and the third hole, a 468-yard par-four with a creek running the entire right-side, balanced with a bunker on the left.
Brian Curley said: “We’re honoured that once again Bali Hai has captured this award. With Bali Hai it was always the intention to give guests an opportunity to loosen up and enjoy their surroundings as well as challenging their skills.
“It’s a fun course that provides a good test but doesn’t beat you to death. It’s the kind of golf course you could play day after day and never tire of its charm.”

The only thing we devote more effort to than golf, is our guests. Our commitment to impeccable customer service, our first-class facilities and convenient locations is why we have such a great relationship with Las Vegas concierges.
“They know when they refer golfers to us, that their guests will be in good hands and have an exceptional experience.”
