Hong Kong: Golfers in Hong Kong are set to benefit from the opening of a newly-floodlit driving range at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling.

Tom Phillips, Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Golf Association (HKGA), said: “The decision by the Hong Kong Golf Club to floodlight its range and allow evening access to the public is great news for local golfers of all ages and abilities. It is also another significant boost to golf development in Hong Kong.”
Phillips added: “The Hong Kong Golf Club is always unwavering in its support towards HKGA initiatives, including special visitor rates for HKGA handicap card-holders, regular access to national squad players for play and practice, host to numerous HKGA amateur tournaments every year and the venue for the annual Hong Kong Open, Hong Kong’s oldest professional sporting event, for the past 55 years.”
The 32-bay night range at the Hong Kong Golf Club on Fan Kam Road in Fanling is open to the public from 7 pm-10 pm during Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Practice sessions cost HK$80 (about US$10) per 30-minute interval, including unlimited use of range balls.
Individual hire clubs are also available at a cost of HK$30 (about US$4) each and parking at the Hong Kong Golf Club is free of charge to all range users.
