Arizona, United States (February 21, 2014): Troon, a leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, has announced a positive start to the first quarter of 2014, completing eight new contracts in just six weeks.
Troon’s global portfolio continues to grow, now representing properties in 33 states and 27 countries with the addition of the company’s latest new deals, several of which will be individually announced in the coming weeks.
This introduces Troon to new locations in Alabama, California, Georgia, Kansas and South Carolina. Internationally, the portfolio now includes Perth, Australia as well as Marrakech, Morocco and France.
Dana Garmany, Chairman and CEO, Troon, said: “We are thrilled to announce this positive start to the year and believe these eight new contracts demonstrate the confidence and trust our clients place in Troon and in our ability to produce results and deliver on our promises.
“These additions represent a variety of facility types, including resort courses, private clubs, and member-owned properties that are even located on four different continents. Our ability to adapt to individual facilities in a variety of destinations and cultures is extremely unique to the industry and is something we take great pride in doing.”
Among the eight new contracts is the PalmGolf Club Marrakech in Morocco. The venue adds to an already impressive portfolio of existing Troon-managed properties in the region, bringing Troon’s total up to eight properties in Morocco.
Two of Troon’s most recent management contracts involve Salina Country Club in Salina, Kansas and Pine Tree Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama.
Salina Country Club is a century-old private club known for a long and rich tradition of offering activities that attract members, young and old. Pine Tree Country Club is a beautiful and versatile private club offering an array of family amenities including golf, tennis, swimming and fitness.
