Araluen Addition to Troon’s Australian Portfolio

Perth, Australia: Troon has added an all-new property to its extensive international portfolio with the announcement it has been chosen to manage Araluen Golf Resort.
Already retained at five venues on Australia’s East Coast, the signing of the prestigious resort in Western Australia demonstrates the diversity of Troon-managed facilities in the country and reiterates another ownership’s confidence in the industry-leader to impart its expert knowledge in the development of golf at the facility.
Located just 40 minutes from the state’s capital, Perth, and its central business district, the stunning par-72 course is forging a reputation as one of the premier corporate golf venues within the region.
Designed in 1994 by renowned Australian golf professional Roger Mackay and Michael Coate, the 18-hole layout features prominently within Australia’s top golf rankings and consistently features as the number one course in Western Australia.

“With the addition of Troon, we are sure the exceptional golf experience will be taken to an unsurpassed level in Australia, creating a new dawn for its members and visitors in the club’s next 20 years. The International Division has already seen continued growth this year and it is encouraging to see owners from established golfing regions also choosing Troon to develop their golf offerings with our incomparable attention to detail and unsurpassed industry insight.”
The course is complemented by the stunning clubhouse and its wide array of function and leisure amenities, combining typical, welcoming Australian character along with service and hospitality synonymous with the Troon brand.
Boasting a 152-seat restaurant, which maintains a Gold Plate Award Winner status, Views 101 epitomises excellence in cuisine with its committed catering industry professionals, and partners from Roley’s on the Ridge.
In addition, the resort includes an amazing terrace with stunning views across the course’s ninth and 18th holes as well as four Function Rooms and a Board Room.
The club is forging a future with Troon to develop a unique membership and innovative daily-fee options for golfers flocking to the country.
