STS Collaboration with Red Sea Global

Bangkok, Thailand: Sports Turf Solutions (STS) has entered a strategic partnership with Red Sea Global, a prominent player in sustainable landscaping and urban development, to establish a state-of-the-art Zeon Zoysia nursery in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The two companies said the collaboration signifies a significant milestone in advancing the quality and sustainability of sports turf across the Kingdom.

Known for its exceptional performance and resilience in various climates, Zeon Zoysia has gained international recognition for its durability, low maintenance requirements, and striking visual appeal.

“We are excited to join hands with Red Sea Global to bring the benefits of Zeon Zoysia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” said Brad Burgess, CEO & Founder of Sports Turf Solutions, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF).

“This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to enhance turf quality and promote eco-friendly solutions in sensitive areas. Zeon Zoysia’s adaptability and beauty make it an ideal choice for enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of all turf facilities across the region,” added Burgess, who made a presentation on Sustainable Turfgrass at this week’s AGIF Conference in Danang.

The collaboration will leverage Red Sea Global’s expertise in sustainable urban development and landscaping, coupled with STS’ track record of delivering cutting-edge turf solutions to sports facilities throughout Asia.

The establishment of the Zeon Zoysia nursery will not only provide a reliable supply of this premium grass variety but also contribute to the local economy through job creation and knowledge exchange.

“We believe that landscaping and sports infrastructure play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of communities,” said Grant Shaw, Senior Nursery Director of Red Sea Global.

“Our partnership with Sports Turf Solutions will enable us to introduce Zeon Zoysia, a high-quality turfgrass, to our destinations, aligning with our commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship,” he added.

The Zeon Zoysia nursery is set to be equipped with advanced cultivation techniques, ensuring the production of top-quality grass that meets the rigorous standards set by Sports Turf Solutions.

The two organisations said the venture reflects their dedication to innovation, sustainability, and delivering the best possible solutions to clients through selecting the most suitable turf varieties for the correct situation. Testing of further varieties from the Bladerunner Farms breeding will also be undertaken.
