West Java, Indonesia: Rainbow Hills Golf Club’s reputation as one of Indonesia’s leading golfing venues has been enhanced during 2020.
During a year which saw the Bogor club celebrate its 25th anniversary, Rainbow Hills improved its ranking in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Asia by Golf Travel Magazine as well as being named winner of the Luxury Lifestyle Awards in the category of The Best Luxury Golf Clubs in Indonesia.
“On behalf of the Rainbow Hills Golf Club team, we express our gratitude for being recognised with these awards,” said Widya Tirta Putra, Deputy General Manager of Rainbow Hills Golf Club, a Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“These are important and inspiring achievements, which is a great motivation for our further development,” he added.
In the Top 100 Golf Courses in Asia listing, Rainbow Hills rose from 94th in 2019 to 83rd in 2020.
Meanwhile, in its citation, Luxury Lifestyle Awards said Rainbow Hills ‘offers a perfect combination of world-class course architecture and scenic mountain surroundings, creating the impeccable environment for an unforgettable experience for golfers of all skill levels’.
Sculpted by Bob Moore of J. Michael Poellot Golf Design Group (JMP), the first 18 holes at Rainbow Hills (Mountain Course and Forest Course) were opened in 1995. An additional nine holes (Stone Hills Course) came on line in 2015.
As well as offering a wide choice of dining experiences within its clubhouse, Rainbow Hills boasts ‘The Pavilion’, an exclusive complex of four separate Balinese-style VIP pavilions with private access lobby and direct access to the golf course.
Each pavilion has a locker room for a maximum of 20 golfers, a living room, and a spacious dining room.
