Bangkok, Thailand: Absolute Golf Services (AGS) has signed a long-term management contract with Vietnam’s Sapa Grand Golf Club, which includes overseeing the final stages of construction and the pre-opening.
Sapa Grand Golf Club is the first golf course to be constructed in the Lao Cai region, sitting majestically on hilly terrain and designed utilising the natural peaks and valleys that afford spectacular views of the region and neighbouring China.
“This marks AGS’s entry into golf club management in Vietnam and reflects the company’s growth and success in managing golf and leisure facilities across Asia,” said a spokesperson for AGS, an Associate Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
The spokesperson added that the club will feature an 18-hole, par-72 layout and will offer a unique golf and hospitality experience. The course in now open for preview play and will be fully open in the final quarter of 2023.
In the final stages of construction, the clubhouse boasts a modern design that will present extensive member and visitor facilities, along with VIP areas for founding members, and a variety of food and beverage options.
Situated on the highest part of the property, the clubhouse will present picturesque 360-degree vistas.
